Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Bidaful mobile application and related services (the “Service”), operated by Bidaful (“Bidaful,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
Bidaful is a marketplace that connects homeowners (“Customers”) with independent service professionals (“Pros”). Customers post jobs; Pros submit bids; Customers accept a bid, pay, and schedule the work. Bidaful is not a contractor, does not perform services, and is not a party to the agreement between a Customer and a Pro. Pros are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Bidaful.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Pros must complete a background check. Insurance is not required for every job, but Bidaful requires valid, verified proof of insurance to bid on certain jobs — including higher-value jobs and higher-risk categories such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Pros remain responsible for carrying any insurance and licensing required by law for the work they perform.
3. Text messaging
When you create an account you provide your mobile phone number and agree to receive account and job-related text messages from Bidaful (for example: scheduling proposals and confirmations, job reminders, late/no-show notices, and payment confirmations or alerts). These are transactional service messages; we do not send marketing texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. 4. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. When a Customer accepts a bid, the Customer provides a payment method and authorizes Bidaful to place a hold and, upon job completion, charge the quoted total plus any applicable platform and processing fees. Funds are held and released to the Pro only after the Customer confirms the job is complete or after an automatic release window.
Cancellations and fees. A Customer may cancel for a full refund before the Pro is on the way. After that point, a cancellation fee (currently $22) may apply to compensate the Pro for time and travel. If a Pro fails to arrive, the Customer is not charged and the job is reopened. Emergency jobs that expire without an accepted bid are automatically refunded.
5. Reviews
After a completed job, each party may submit one review of the other within 48 hours. Reviews remain private until that window closes, after which each party may post one public response within a further 48 hours. Reviews and responses must not contain profanity, and must be honest and based on the actual transaction. Bidaful may remove content that violates these Terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misrepresent your identity or qualifications; circumvent the platform to avoid fees; harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users; post false, infringing, or unlawful content; scrape or misuse the Service; or interfere with its operation.
7. Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, messages, reviews) and grant Bidaful a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use it to operate and promote the Service.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Bidaful does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or timeliness of services provided by Pros, or the accuracy of user content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bidaful disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bidaful will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any amount exceeding the fees Bidaful earned on the transaction giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Bidaful harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted in the app or on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
